Girl Scout Program

Girl Scout Program

We offer workshops for Girl Scout Troops.  This also includes a "tour" of our Gallery area.  Therefore, it is NOT suggested for pre-school siblings to attend.  In addition, parking is LIMITED at our location.  So please plan to carpool!!!  No individual girl drop-off or pickups!  And due to the fact that our space is limited in the studio, only Safety-Wise adults please!

Please see below for information regarding the various Program Age Levels.

Debbie is a Lifetime Member of the Girl Scouts.  She is a Leader, Council Trainer and Service Unit Manager.  Tony is also an Adult member of the Girl Scouts.

Brownie

Your Brownie Girl Scouts will love this!  They will visit a "real" pottery studio and gallery, learn about clay and pottery, watch a demonstration by a Master Potter, and make a hand-built project.  These projects will be fired and glazed by Holman Pottery and will be available to return to the girls approximately 3 weeks after the event.

The fee is $7 per person with a minimum of 7 people.  (No charge for adults unless the adults participate.)  A $25 deposit is required once a date is set.  This deposit will go towards your balance.  The workshop takes approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

We work with your schedule and ours so various times and dates are available.  Please call for availability!  See below for further information.

Daisy

Sorry, no program is available for Daisy's!

How do the girls prepare for the workshop?

It is suggested that you not wear your Girl Scout Uniform, Vest or Sash!  Clay does wash out of clothes but does mom really want to wash that vest?  Rings and bracelets should not be worn. Anyone with long hair should have their hair pulled back in a pony tail.

Food, drink and gum are not permitted.
